Overlap

Made by one person, who shows their working

Overlap is made by Karolis Petrauskas, a cybersecurity graduate and IT support engineer, based in Limerick, Ireland.

I built it because small firms keep being asked the same questions in four different languages. A customer quotes NIS2, an insurer quotes ISO, and an adviser quotes NIST. Most of the time the honest answer is a habit they already have.

I'm not a lawyer, and this map is not legal advice. That is why every link quotes the official text it rests on, so you can read it yourself.

Qualifications
  • Diploma in Cybersecurity (NFQ Level 7), Distinction, City Colleges Dublin, 2026
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), 2026
  • Studying Cybersecurity Law and Regulations, University of Limerick

Overlap is an independent project. It is not a product of, or endorsed by, the NCSC, the Data Protection Commission, the European Union, NIST, ISO or any government.

Nothing is sent, and almost nothing is stored

  • There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. The fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.
  • Your choices live only in the page address, after the #. Browsers never send that part to a server. A share link records only which dots are on.
  • Images you download are drawn in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded.
  • The questionnaire translator runs in your browser too. Nothing you type in the search box leaves your device.
  • If you pick light or dark, that choice is saved in your own browser so the next page matches. It is the only thing saved, and it is never sent anywhere. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.

Every link shows its source

Each link on the map quotes the official wording it rests on and links to it. The method page explains how the links are made and lists every one of them. If you think one is wrong, email hello@kpetrauskas.com.
